Here is some information to help you prepare for your stay with us, so that it is as pleasant as possible.

What to bring

For your stay we propose that you bring along:

  • Body soap
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Paper tissues
  • Clock radio
  • Pillow to make you feel at home (ours are slightly plasticized)
  • Liquid laundry soap (only), if you use our washer
  • Umbrella

Meals

An allowance for meals is included in the cost of a night’s stay for people with cancer and their companion. On your arrival, you will receive a meal card valid in the cafeteria of l’Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis. The value of this card usually covers meal costs. However, depending on your menu choices, you may have extra charges.

Prepare your own meals

Tired of eating out? Missing badly your spaghetti sauce? Don’t worry, our common kitchen allows you to prepare your meals, just like at home. Food cupboards and refrigerators are available for you to store your food.

Reception schedule for admission and departures

Arrival

Your arrival at the Maison Dessercom is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. A person at the reception will be available to show you around and make sure you are well settled.

Departure

The day you check out, you must leave your room by 11:00 a.m. after making your final payment.

Parking

The Maison Dessercom in Lévis offers several parking spaces reserved for residents, at a modest price. 

If a parking space is available, you can use it once you have made the payment. You will then be provided with a parking sticker to hang on your rear view mirror.
