The Quebec Cancer Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Geneviève Giguère as Chair of its Board of Directors. This appointment is pivotal for the Foundation, which will henceforth benefit from the strategic vision, multidisciplinary expertise and unwavering commitment of Ms. Giguère regarding the challenges inherent to our healthcare system.
A respected leader in the consulting and pharmaceutical sectors, Geneviève Giguère is currently a partner at Deloitte, where she is responsible for the Health Care and Life Sciences sectors. A stalwart supporter of the Foundation since 2019, she was named a Board of Directors Vice-chair in 2021, year that marked the beginning of her active contribution to our strategic development and growth. She considers this role as being about much more than mere governance:
“The Foundation’s values truly resonate with me. I want to have a real and lasting impact on society, to transmit my values and generous nature to my children, and to concretely contribute to the Foundation’s mission of helping people touched by cancer. As Chair of the Board of Directors, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and work hard to help the Foundation reach its objectives,” she stated.
This appointment reflects the Foundation’s desire to merge operational discipline and human sensitivity by bringing on board committed and inspiring leaders, much like Geneviève Giguère.

Over the past four years, he has led the Foundation with an unwavering passion, dedication, goodwill, and know-how. His leadership has allowed our organization to converge and diversify the services offered to better meet the growing needs of Quebecers facing cancer. We are incredibly thankful for his valuable support, which still lives on today and continues to fuel our actions.
