Mission of the Quebec Cancer Foundation

A second family, a light at the end of the tunnel, a lifeline, a team of good-hearted people: that’s what the Foundation means for the thousands of men and women who they support each year.

Mission

The Quebec Cancer Foundation is here to listen, inform, comfort, care and provide accommodation for Quebecers when cancer strikes, turning their lives upside down.

For almost 45 years, the Quebec Cancer Foundation has raised the funds needed to provide everyday support to thousands of Quebecers dealing with cancer and to their loved ones.

A second family, a light at the end of the tunnel, a lifeline, a team of good-hearted people – that’s what the Foundation means for the thousands of men and women who they support each year.

Through its Regional Centres in Montreal, Quebec City, the Eastern Townships, Outaouais, Mauricie and Lévis, the Foundation offers complementary therapies — physical wellness and psychological support — as well as the largest accommodation network in the province. In addition, they offer financial and legal assistance programs to people with cancer and in precarious situations. Through its Programme à Félix, they also offer adapted help to young people aged 15 to 39 affected by cancer. Finally, the Foundation’s Info-cancer Services offer listening, answers and solace in every part of the province.

Our Values

Our Vision

To be the leading provider of support, assistance and reassurance for all people affected by cancer.

Your donations enable us to reassure, support, inform, lodge and, especially, instill hope in those who find themselves vulnerable in the face of cancer.

Your help is indeed precious to us. Thank you!

The impact of the postal strike is being felt on the funds raised.

However, strike or no strike, cancer doesn’t take a break.

Thank you for making an emergency donation to help us continue providing sustained support. 💜
