No experience or artistic talent is required to take part in the art therapy workshops. Here is all you need: curiosity and the desire to try different mediums, such as painting, clay, wood, pastels, plaster and others. The art therapist will guide you in your artistic exploration and invite you to be creative for pleasure and not performance.
The Foundation, which was the first organization to offer art therapy in the field of oncology, proposes an open studio approach allowing you to attend workshops at a time convenient for you and to stay as long as you wish.

The Quebec Cancer Foundation offers art therapy workshops to any individual with cancer, up to one year after their final treatment. They are also offered to their caregivers. The service targets those who wish:
Our art therapists are professionals who are trained in their field, bringing together both artistic practice and psychological intervention. They encourage creative expression, observation of artistic works and introspection in order to see evolve a new personal vision. Their expertise help participants overcome obstacles caused by the disease, to better identify their strengths and to meet new challenges.
