Pursuing our objective of being more accessible to Quebecers living with cancer, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with the CISSS des Îles and kinesiologist Geneviève Leblanc in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine region.
Thanks to an initiative launched a few weeks ago, Madelinots who are currently receiving cancer treatments or completed their therapy within the past 12 months now have access to kinesiology evaluation and follow-up services. Soon, kinesiology group sessions will also be offered.

Yet more people with cancer will benefit from proximity kinesiology services at no cost and in person. These new kinesiology sessions will complement our wide range of kinesiology services offered in our 6 Regional Centers, online, and in collaboration with our partners.
“Improving the regional accessibility to tailored complementary therapies to people with cancer is a priority for the Foundation. This new partnership with the CISSS des Îles allows us to offer services of proximity, critical to their well-being, while also optimizing the support offered to people facing cancer throughout the province,” emphasized Marco Décelles, General Manager of the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
