To support people affected by cancer on a daily basis throughout Quebec with concrete services adapted to their needs.

Service offerings

Financial help

Last resort' financial assistance for individuals at and below the low-income cutoff who are not eligible for any other financial assistance program. The annual amount awarded for this program is up to $1,000 per person. Only applications submitted by social workers or oncology workers, accredited by the Quebec Cancer Foundation, will be analyzed. Research

Onco+: Free support service to help people with cancer identify clinical trials that may be appropriate for their medical condition and to assist them in their search. In collaboration with Q-CROC. People with cancer By appointment

Information and documentation

Info-cancer Hotline : a telephone medical information service provided by nurses experienced in oncology. Listening, psychosocial support and referral to community resources. Call 1-800-363-0063. Free. Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Psychologist and social worker

Info-cancer Hotline : : one hour telephone consultation with a psycho-oncologist; maximum of 3 consultations. Free. Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, depending on the purchase.

Pairing

Info-cancer Hotline : telephone peer matching with trained listening peers. Service coordinated and supervised by a counsellor. Free. Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Nutrition

Info-cancer Hotline : One-hour telephone consultation with a nutritionist specializing in oncology. Free. Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, depending on the purchase.

Information and documentation

Info-cancer Hotline : library. Lending service for documents by mail or in person, document research assistance offered by librarians; online catalogue; reference to local resources. No charge. Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
