For a fourth consecutive year, the Quebec Cancer Foundation appoints new Governor Members in recognition of their immeasurable contribution to the fight against cancer.
“Since it was created, the Quebec Cancer Foundation has assisted over half a million Quebecers. Our service offer is constantly evolving, and we continue to build closer ties with everyone we help and support on a daily basis. We’re able to do this thanks to our precious allies, who give heart and soul to help promote the well-being of those facing cancer. Acknowledging what they do is truly important to us,” declared Mr. Marco Décelles, Director General of the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
This special recognition evening revolves around paying tribute to the men, women and organizations who allow the Foundation to continue offering services, informing and accompanying persons dealing with all that cancer entails.
The following seven individuals/organizations were awarded the coveted title of Governor Member:
- Mr. Donald Angers
- Bistro Sodexo of the Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Sherbrooke
- Mr. Steve Bouthillette
- Caisse Desjardins du Quartier-Latin
- Mr. Stéphane Dubé
- Mr. Pierre Lamontagne
- Mr. Robert Paré
