What to bring

Here is what we suggest:

  • Body soap
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Tissues
  • A clock radio
  • A pillow to help you feel at home (the ones we offer are lightly laminated)
  • Liquid laundry soap (only if you use our washing machine)
  • An umbrella

Meals

A financial allowance for meals is included in the cost of an overnight stay for people with cancer and their companions. When you arrive, you will receive meal vouchers that are valid in the hospital cafeteria. The value of these coupons covers the cost of most meals. However, you may be charged a fee, depending on the menu you choose.
