$1.627M Raised: Business Leaders Stepped Up for Cancer Support

December 12, 2025

This year, Quebec’s business community came together as one to make hearts beat for solidarity. Driven by an unprecedented collective effort, the 2025 Corporate Campaign of the Quebec Cancer Foundation raised more than $1.6million — a remarkable achievement showcasing the generosity, creativity, and commitment of organizations across the province to those affected by cancer.

From Gatineau to Quebec City, via Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke, and Montreal, local businesses across Quebec have shown boldness and imagination to make a real difference. Fundraisers, challenges, benefit events — every initiative demonstrated that in business, as in the fight against cancer, our strength is amplified when we unite.

Carried by a spirit of inspiration and generosity, the 2025 Cancerto benefit concert series brought together an impressive network of philanthropists, leaders, partners, and engaged citizens. From October to December, these joyful evenings spread generosity across the province, blending music, emotion, and collective purpose under one mission: to provide more support, hope, and comfort to those living with cancer.

Beyond the performances of the Orchestre du Septième Art, Bosko Baker’s & the Do’Makers, Suzie Villeneuve, Zooloo & The Seaweeds, and the Louisiana Night Train with Normand Brathwaite, it was the strength of community spirit that truly set the tone and moved audiences from one region to another.

On December 10, the Cancerto Montreal evening at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal brought the series to a spectacular close. Presented by Équipe Major – iA Private Wealth, in collaboration with Larivière & Massicotte, Pharmaciennes Inc. – Pharmacie d’expertise, and Solutions Blue Aurora, with support from Pfizer, Merck, Genatec, Groupe financier PEAK, and Services financiers Eric F. Gosselin, the event alone raised $297,500. Our volunteer spokesperson GuylaineTanguay, joined by MartinDeschamps and AnnieVilleneuve, touched the audience with her energy, talent, and generosity, uniting everyone in a spirit of compassion and hope.

Supporting Quebecers Every Day

The funds raised will enable the Foundation to continue its mission of supporting the more than 67,500 Quebecers diagnosed with cancer each year. This vital contribution helps provide access to essential services such as accommodations, complementary therapies, Info-cancer support, and financial and legal assistance programs tailored to the needs of patients and their loved ones.

“On behalf of the Foundation, our beneficiaries, and their loved ones, I wish to express our deepest gratitude to Quebec’s business community — people with heart. Your support changes lives. It ensures that thousands of Quebecers can access the essential resources they need to face the challenge of cancer with greater peace of mind,” said MarcoDécelles, General Manager of the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
