Thanks to the staunch commitment of Quebec’s business community, our 2022 corporate campaign raised an impressive amount of over $1,440,000.
From Gatineau to Montreal, as well as in Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke, and Québec City, the business community once again rallied to organize fundraising activities and events to help us support people facing cancer.
Over a thousand philanthropists attended our Cancerto benefit evenings, the spearhead of our corporate campaign. From November to December, the business community took part in these events to demonstrate its support for people with cancer while also enjoying the musical performances of Marc Hervieux, Claude Dupont, the Orchestre du Septième Art, and Florence K.
The campaign came to a close last December 13th at the Montreal Casino with Cancerto Montréal, an event presented by Medicom, in collaboration with CN, Assante Wealth Management – Major team, Vézina assurances Inc. – Marsh & McLennan Agency, LLC, Genatec, Mondo America, Merck, Pfizer, UAP, Services Financiers Eric F. Gosselin Inc., Dynamic Funds, and several other partners. Starring our spokesperson Guylaine Tanguay and guests Maxime Landry and Marjo, the evening ultimately raised a total of $290,000 for the Foundation and its beneficiaries.
The funds raised during this campaign will help the 60,000 Quebecers diagnosed with cancer each year, by allowing the Foundation to keep offering its essential programs and services.
“On behalf of the entire Foundation team and those we help, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the province’s business community and to everyone who once again contributed to the success of our corporate campaign. Thanks to your support and dedication, we can better support Quebecers with cancer and their loved ones by offering services more tailored and accessible, regardless of where they are in Quebec,” stated Marco Décelles, General Manager of the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
The Quebec Cancer Foundation is the only organization in Quebec to provide support to all people with cancer, regardless of their age or the stage or type of cancer. Through its complementary therapies, psychological support and accommodation services, Info-cancer Services, and financial and legal assistance programs, the Foundation provides critical support to those who face this difficult challenge.
