A new auspicious partnership with Se reconstruire – Centre de santé du sein

March 10, 2023

In keeping with our goal of continually making new services accessible to persons with breast cancer, we are thrilled to announce that as of this April, the organization Se reconstruire – Centre de santé du sein will be setting up shop at the Quebec Cancer Foundation’s premises in Trois-Rivières and Quebec City to offer free 3D tattooing of the nipple and areole.

Depending on the initiative’s success in these first cities, the two organizations would like to offer this service in other regions, such as Gatineau, Sherbrooke, and Lévis.

“Being able to count on an organization such as the Quebec Cancer Foundation is a wonderful gift. This collaboration will allow us to expand the reach of our services, especially to women who live in remote regions of Quebec,” stated Isabelle Julie, Executive Director of Se reconstruire – Centre de santé du sein.

These novel services, carried out by professionals and offered at no cost to Quebec women diagnosed with breast cancer, will surely make a major difference in the lives of the latter.

“The Foundation places great emphasis on the importance of facilitating access to professional services that can offer people with cancer both relief and hope, and this throughout Quebec. This partnership will allow us to extend support at a community or regional level, a factor that can prove critical to the well-being of people with cancer,” underscored Marco Décelles, General Manager of the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
