Always more new partners: for complementary therapies even more accessible in Quebec

February 20, 2023

We are pleased to announce the opening of several complementary therapy and psychological support services in several regions.

These complementary therapies will now be available in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Saint-Hyacinthe and Montreal in partnership with the CISSS Montérégie-Centre, the CISSS Montérégie-Est, the CHUM, the CIUSSS de l’est de Montréal and the CISSS from the North of the Island.

Thanks to these new partnerships, we are pursuing our goal of making massage therapy services during chemotherapy, art therapy and kinesiology treatments ever more accessible to the thousands of people facing cancer across the province.

“These new collaborations in Montreal and Montérégie expand our service offering to the 60,000 Quebecers affected by cancer. By optimizing accessibility to concrete and adapted services, throughout the province, we contribute to the well-being of all those who live with the disease,” underlines Marco Décelles, Executive Director of the Foundation.

These services complement the wide range of complementary therapies and psychological support offered face-to-face and online at the Foundation’s 6 Regional Centers, as well as with our various partners throughout Quebec.

The impact of the postal strike is being felt on the funds raised.

However, strike or no strike, cancer doesn’t take a break.

Thank you for making an emergency donation to help us continue providing sustained support. 💜
