Albatros Gatineau-La Lièvre

To provide seriously ill people, those in palliative care or those who have received an end-of-life diagnosis, with support until the end, regardless of the illness they are suffering from. This service is provided free of charge by specially trained volunteers.

Accompaniment in severe diagnosis

Complementary information: Support for any seriously ill person in palliative care or at the end of life and their loved ones. Offered by volunteers who have received training in support. The service is offered at home, in a residence, in a hospital center or in a palliative care home. Person with a severe diagnosis and their loved ones. Information and documentation

Complementary information: 36-hour training in supporting people in palliative and end-of-life care and supporting their loved ones. This training is offered in 12 modules of 3 hours. It is based on the Master Plan for the Development of Skills for Palliative Care Workers of the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
