Service offerings

Lodging

Complementary information: Hospital lodging facility called Maison Moreau offering accommodation to people living with cancer who are undergoing diagnostic investigations, treatment, or follow-up care, as well as to their companions. The lodging facility has 10 rooms available for single or double occupancy. Meal vouchers for the cafeteria are included for residents and their companion. Services are available in both French and English, by reservation.

It is recommended to make a reservation as soon as medical appointment dates are confirmed.

Fees: $30 per night for the person living with cancer in double occupancy, including meal vouchers. $45 per night for the person living with cancer in a private room, including meal vouchers. $35 per night for the companion in double occupancy, including meal vouchers.

Art therapy

Complementary information: Art therapy workshops are offered at the Rouyn-Noranda lodging facility in collaboration with Au sein des femmes. Led by an art therapist, these workshops use the creative process and artistic expression to help participants explore their emotions, reduce stress, and promote psychological well-being. No artistic experience is required to participate.

Kinesiology

Complementary information: Kinesiology services offering group sessions according to the activity schedule, as well as individual appointments by reservation. Kinesiology uses adapted physical activity to improve physical fitness, maintain independence, reduce fatigue, and promote overall well-being. Exercises are tailored to each person's abilities and needs.

Massotherapy

Complementary information: Massage therapy services offered to people living with cancer. The 60-minute sessions aim to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. Treatments are tailored to each person's needs and condition. A maximum of six low-cost sessions is offered within a 12-month period.
