Domestic help

Complementary information: Community outreach support service (ITMAV) for individuals aged 50 and over. Community workers identify people experiencing isolation or vulnerability in order to promote their safety, reduce social isolation, and connect them with appropriate resources. for individuals aged 50 and over. Friendly support calls

Complementary information: This service consists of regularly scheduled calls to older adults. The purpose of the calls is to connect with the individual, ensure they are doing well, reduce feelings of loneliness, and remind them that life still holds meaningful and enjoyable moments. Service intended for individuals aged 65 and over, people experiencing loss of autonomy, social isolation or loneliness, as well as those who have limited contact with others or few opportunities to leave their home due to reduced mobility. Meals delivery

Complementary information: Home delivery service of frozen homemade meals offered every two weeks. Meals are available at a cost of $5.50 each, with a minimum order of eight meals. Soups are also available for $1 each.

Home delivery service of hot meals offered two to three times per week. The service is currently available in East Angus. Meals are available at a cost of $7 each (price subject to change). Registration required, with no contract. The service is intended for individuals aged 65 and over living in East Angus and Westbury, new mothers, as well as individuals who are ill or recovering from illness.

Automated reminder services supporting the health and well-being of older adults, including reminders for medication, meals, and physical activity.
For older adults, individuals living alone, people experiencing loss of autonomy, and vulnerable individuals wishing to benefit from automated safety check calls at home.
