For more than 25 years, the Centre d’action bénévole du Contrefort (CABC), through its volunteers, has been offering transportation services, friendship calls/visits and emergency services to senior clients. The mission of the CABC also allows us to respond to a fundamental need in our society: volunteer action.
Quebec Breast Cancer Screening Program
To reduce mortality from breast cancer, the program specifically targets women between the ages of 50 and 69 by offering them the opportunity to have a screening mammogram every 2 years.
RAMQ – Programme d’aide prothèses mammaires externes
For people insured under the Québec health insurance plan who have undergone a total, radical or partial mastectomy. It is also intended for those aged 14 and over who have been diagnosed with aplasia (total absence of breast formation).

Government financial assistance for transportation and accommodation for clients in geographically remote situations to receive oncology treatments.

Food Banks of Quebec
We are a unified network that distributes donated food to people in need across Quebec through our member organizations. We do not provide food assistance directly. Instead, use our Directory of Community Organizations to find a food assistance organization near you.
